Bohs U18s claimed a big 3 points at Miller's Lane on Saturday where an impressive first half performance laid the foundation for the win over a decent Kinvara side. Bohs dominated possession and the chances in the opening half resulting in a deserved 3-0 lead at the break following goals from Noah Ward, Finn McCarthy and Rowan Murphy.
It was the old cliche of a game of two halves as Kinvara came out a different side in the second half showing why they have claimed two big scalps in the league this season having already beaten Athenry and Colga. It was never going to be easy for the Bohs lads to match their first half efforts in the second period and they had keeper Adam Mulhaire to thank for a couple of big saves when Kinvara threatened to get back in the game. A few subs off the bench helped to see the game out and keep a second clean sheet in the space of a week which is a great credit to our defensive unit. Up next up for the lads in two weeks time is an away trip to St Bernard's for the 2nd round of the Connacht Cup  ⚽🔴⚪⚽
