Galway Bohs v Moyne Villa
Bohs took on the only unbeaten side in the division today as Moyne Villa made the trip to Miller's Lane.
Bohs started well and were dangerous on the left from the off, with Sean Duffy causing all sorts of issues for the Villa full back. The best chance of the half came to Oisin Curran however, who rattled the underside of the bar from a free kick midway through the half.
It was a Bohs mistake at the back that gifted the opening goal, leaving the game 0-1 at the break.
Bohs needed to quick start after the break and didn't disappoint, with Anthony Joyce scoring 3 minutes into the second half.
With the game looking like a draw entering the final 10 minutes, it was another mistake at the back that handed the visitors a 2-1 lead.
The Bohs lads were not to be beaten however and were putting pressure on in the Villa half for the final ten minutes. They got their rewards when Ryan Cubbard popped up with a bullet header in added time to make it 2-2.
In the 95th minute, Alex Gleeson looked to have won it only for a brilliant save from the Moyne Villa goalkeeper, with Cubbard putting the rebound over the bar from close range as he was falling off balance.
Overall a fair result after a good game of football.
