Hard luck to our U12 Boys who exited the Connacht Trophy this morning in Millers Lane after a thrilling contest where both sides enjoyed spells on top.

Tuam Celtic opened the scoring after 10 minutes, but Bohs replied instantly as James Kelly continued his fine goalscoring form finishing well after clever play from Jason Keane and Andrew Gallagher.

Bohs then went ahead with a goal-of-the-season contender from Jake Greaney, whose long-range free kick flew into the top corner. Tuam equalised just before halftime from a corner that wasn’t cleared, leaving it 2–2 at the break.

The second half was end-to-end again. James Kelly struck early to restore the Bohs lead with his fourth of the season, but Tuam responded almost immediately and then edged ahead from another set piece. As Bohs pushed forward searching for an equaliser, Tuam added a late fifth to seal it.

Despite the defeat, the young Bohs side  facing a team five divisions higher can take huge pride in their performance, teamwork, and spirit throughout.
