U16 Division 1 and 2 Cup
Bohs travelled to Carraroe this evening knowing only a strong performance out west would be good enough after both sides played out a 3-3 draw earlier in the season in the league.
It took Bohs about 20 minutes to get warmed up but once they did, they started to create chances and got their rewards when Oisin Curran struck the opening goal.
Bohs got a bit of luck as the half time whistle approached, when a bouncing ball inside the box landed to Ryan Faherty who hit home for number two.
MacDara never gave up and opened the second half with a spell of excellent football of their own and got their reward from the spot following a hand ball that resulted in a penalty kick.
Bohs weren't to fade though and it was Curran again who whipped a peach of a strike around the centre back and goalkeeper to make it 3-1.
With the game inside the final ten minutes, MacDara hit back again and took full advantage of an error at the back to make it 3-2 and set it up for a cracking last few minutes.
With fresh legs on the pitch, it was excellent work from Max Fahey on the left that created a late chance for Bohs and there was Curran to bury the opportunity and complete his hat-trick and see Bohs win 4-2.
Credit to MacDara who always make this fixture a close encounter and as always, it was played in good spirits.
