Bohemians travelled to Carraroe for only their second outing of 2026 but came away empty-handed despite a strong performance against Cois Farraige.
With five games postponed over the past two months, Bohs arrived with a small squad and little recent match sharpness, yet they made the brighter start and took a deserved lead when Eric Yorke finished neatly into the bottom corner.
Cois Farraige gradually worked their way back into the contest but struggled to break down a well-organised Bohs defence, with stand-in goalkeeper Evan Welby dealing comfortably with the few chances that came his way.
The hosts eventually drew level five minutes before the break when a collision in the box resulted in a penalty, which was converted to leave the sides tied at 1–1 at half-time.
Bohs thought they had regained the lead in the second half when Dean Geraghty headed to the net, but the effort was ruled out for offside.
As the game wore on, Cois Farraige increased the pressure and Bohs began to feel the effects of tired legs and a lack of match time. The home side struck twice late on to seal a 3–1 victory, a result that perhaps flattered them given the effort and organisation shown by the Bohs side.
Bohs will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Mervue.
