Interested in Volunteering?

Volunteering

Our Club is run by volunteers. No person receives any expenses or remuneration for their role. People are here because we've agreed our goals of creating a fun filled community environment that allows a clear pathway for members to develop and participate at the level they are most comfortable with.

Committee or Helper?

We have various volunteer opportunities to suit most peoples availability. Some roles and descriptions are available in the document below. Get in touch through the form and we'll contact you for a chat. Some roles are informal such as facility clean-up teams or helpers at table quiz nights.

Coaching

We have a strong coach education policy and anyone interested in coaching can get in touch with Tom or Xavi and they'll guide you through the on-boarding process. 95% of our coaches started as parent coaches with little to no previous experience. We'll make sure to give you the necessary training and support to ensure you become part of our Team at your pace.

Useful Links

All volunteers must complete Garda Vetting and a Safeguarding 1 Course. The FAI are using an online system and each volunteer must create their own account and process the vetting application themselves. A paper form must be completed by the volunteer and approved by a Galway Bohs Committee member which is then uploaded on the online system.

Please contact AnnMarie on 0858615728 for assistance.
